Since the time it opened, Punjab Grill restaurant has been popular for its largely North Indian cuisine inspired non-vegetarian dishes. So I was was very much surprised to get an invite for tasting the Navratra Delight Menu – an ongoing special curation for the special festival period of ‘Navratras’ which involves fasting and having a strict vegetarian diet.
The PR mail described the Navratra Menu as “Delve into pure, authentic and delicious food this festive season as Punjab Grill has curated a special Navratra Delight menu to turn fasting into feasting for all its guests. From old favourites to newer ones, indulge in lot more than just the usual fare.“
The highlight of this nine-day special vegetarian menu includes dishes such as Rajgiraki Puri, SamakKaPulao, Makhane Ki Kheer, KaccheKelekiTikkiDahi Wale Aloo, SukhiArbi and Khatta Meetha Kaddu.
I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors & items on the menu for the Thali I definitely did not think Punjab Grill, which had a brand image of largely non-vegetarian dishes would think of something like this and then execute it so well!! (And price it at INR 525 + taxes for a thali).
So Delhi walon, if you are fasting this Navratra and still want to have some delicious vegetarian food, head to Punjab Grill for a real deal delicious experience.
