The website of IHC says that”The INDIA HABITAT CENTRE was conceived to provide a physical environment which would serve as a catalyst for a synergetic relationship between individuals and institutions working in diverse habitat related areas and therefore, maximise their total effectiveness. ”
And it really serves the purpose wholly and much more.
For me if there’s one quality hangout place in the whole city that i have to go…this is the one!!
IHC is designed by renowned Architect Joseph Allen Stein and is one of his most popular creations. The place comprises of a number of visual art galleries, restaurants, auditoriums, theaters and office spaces. Therefore, it offers an interesting mix of activities for people of all age groups and social interests.
Its a stone throw away from my house(rather my parents’ place), so anytime i feel like having a me alone time or cozy time with friends i just walk down here…

however, when i want to have a cozy time with friends, i go to American Diner, which a small cover restaurant serving american style food.

In addition, there are a number of music & dance performances, movie screenings and other cultural events going on at any point of of time, so any time im there im assured i will be entertained!!!
I love IHC and would have loved to hang out with you…if only…:-)

Its an awesome place where one can even feel the air to be at peace… the deafening silence sumtimes broken by the crackle of laughter. The showcase of talent in art galleries. The quality food.. and to top it all… the ambiance of IHC.
Any person who love them self and the inner beauty of their heart will come again and again to this place.
