Fashion Brand ‘House of Masaba’ is most famous for its Sarees, indeed, each piece is fabulous and I also happen to own an interesting ikat print Saree from its stable. Masaba Gupta (owner and designer of the brand) is known for quirky & bohemian prints, which also find translation into various other garments she designs (skirts, pants, jackets, tunic, etc.).
I found this interesting Masaba print tunic while on Sale shopping at the brand’s Meherchand Market outlet. I love the simplicity of the tunic, yet the quirky print at the collar and pom pom tie strings. Wore it with green Jeggings and accessorized with lively green Hidesign Bag for an afternoon event.

Tunic: House of Masaba
Jeggings: Benetton
Bag: Hidesign
Wedges: Bata
Watch: Citizen
This green Hidesign bag is loved & appreciated by all whenever I sport it, truly it’s been one of my real good buys.
Don’t miss the pop pink lipstick I am sporting!! It’s been one of my spontaneous buys at MAC airport counter (you know when you want to pass time before the flight). I wasn’t sure whether it was right but got compliment from the husband for it :).

What’s you take on Masaba prints? Rather prints in general??

  1. Beautiful pictures Sushmita!
Btw, I too like the simplicity of my hometown and happy that it's not yet trendy like metro cities! but it's fast developing and the change is inevitable….

  2. Ok, leaving away from india has its own disadvantages as like all other people here i don't know about Masaba ! 🙁

While reading your post, i was wondering how the fashion plays with time. There was a time when we used to laugh at Govinda's colorful pants ! And now i own green, yellow, brown, pink pants in my wardrob! Ohh god, this is to show us how advanced he was with fashion and we laughed on him only to follow him years down ! hehe

I love you make-up. I so suck at putting on some decent make-up, i always envy the ones who can. Good going girl, keep writing.

  3. I have been loving clothing items with pom poms on them. It reminds me so much of the 80s and when I used to wear socks with little pom poms on them. 🙂 That tunic is super cute and I love the lipstick color! <3

  4. I love Masaba's use of vibrant & contrast colors, very much like my own sensibilities! 🙂

And Sush……I have been eyeing your fuschia lip color ever since I saw your snap on FB…….need to get a fuschia for myself soon! 😉
